My Brute game guide Pupil scripts gameplay

Postby Jasonweb » June 11th, 2009, 1:01 pm

It's been a few months since the wildly popular fighting game - My Brute - was released it has attracted a lot of visibility and game play throughout the world. A simple, yet surprisingly addictive little game where you have little input on the actual fighting in the game. What you are able to control is how often you play and how quickly you advance to the next level. You are limited to only (3) fights per day, which should take just a few minutes to complete. The other way to advance is by gaining "pupils". Simply by sending your brute's fight url [http://WHATEVERBRUTEHERE.mybrute.com/] a person who has a different IP address will go to the fight page and after customizing their brute will fight your character. This will give you exactly (1) experience point. And if they continue to play their character for each level they achieve you will be given (1) experience point. You are benefiting by having pupils giving you more experience points and eventually leveling up your brute giving heath, weapons, bonus supers.

Creating your OWN experience giving Pupils

If you have a dynamic ip connection to the Internet you have the option of reseting your ip address and then going to your brute fight page and creating a new character. This will give your master brute another pupil from a different IP address. If you attempt to create a pupil from the same IP address you are NOT given any experience points. So if you have the time or desire you reset your router or broadband modem, clear your browser data and use a utility like CrapCleaner to clear the cache, it's free and helps clear system resources. After reset, browser clear, CCleaner clean, then proceed to your master brute fight page and create another brute.

Using a pupil management script

This is not one of those auto-generating type scripts that the Frenchies seem to be using in creating tens of thousands of pupils. This scripts allows you to easily manage your pupils and fight in the arena faster. It's been very useful to me for that purpose and allows me to spend less time leveling up my pupils and finding weaker opponents to raise my winning percentage. You will need to have Grease Monkey installed on your browser and you will find additional instructions and benefits below:

    * Quickly navigate between your brutes from either their cell's or arena pages
    * Buttons to perform common tasks, like adding or deleting brutes, adding or deleting enemies, visiting opponents' cells, or attacking other brutes. The buttons dynamically appear when their function is appropriate.
    * Adds the percentage to level-up on the experience bar.
    * A quick-fight button in the cell to challenge a random opponent without having to go the arena
    * The ability to skip watching the animations of those quick-fights
    * Automatically register your brutes in the daily tournaments.
    * In the arena, adds a link to the cell of each presented opponent, so you can check them out first
    * Manage a list of your enemies. Either to keep track of them, or to give your brutes priority in attacking your enemies instead of attacking random brutes.
    * The Manager automatically collects all the information about your brutes, including their level, progress towards level-up, victories, pupils, and Tournament Ranking.
    * A configuration page that lets you turn options on or off, and manually edit your brute and enemy lists
    * The configuration page also functions as a Brute Summary page so you can see and compare all your brutes statistics.
    * The configuration page also automatically runs the Experience Lookup tool on all your brutes so you can see how many experience points they need to Level-Up!

Create Level ZERO Brutes

Postby Jasonweb » June 21st, 2009, 9:27 am

When you are adding pupils to your Master Brute and are using the My Brute Manager above an easy way for you to grab lesser enemies is by creating zero level brutes.

How this works is you simply set the My Brute Manager to look for opponents that are 2 levels beneath you. You will still gain 2 experience points when fighting brutes that are 2 levels under you, if you fought a brute 3 levels beneath you, you would gain only 1 experience point.

So go to the desired brute's fight page, choose name and character,(copy the name) and as soon as you click on Validate close the window down. You DO NOT want to fight the first match. Then go the the newly created brute's cell and it should list the level being 0.

With the newly created zero level brute added to your My Brute Manager as a friend all of your brutes that are level 2 and below will search for 0 level opponents thus improving the chances of winning fights. Leave the zero level brutes alone and do not enter them into fights themselves. They are helpful in getting new pupils through the early levels.

My Brute Rankings through Tournament Play

Postby Jasonweb » June 25th, 2009, 8:55 am

Rankings correspond to the Image at the bottom, starting Left to Right

I lucked out early in the tournament play when I was a lot lower level and managed to reach IronFist. I haven't even come close to getting near that again even though I have advanced like 10 levels since .. go figure.

Padawan – everyone starts with this ranking
Desert Batterer – In Tournament you REACH the Final 1024 or the 11H of the tournament
Sticking Plaster Ripper – Final 512 / 12H
Richter Thumper – Final 256 / 13H
Iron Fist – Final 128 / 14H
Vengeful Flame – Final 64 / 15H
Beserk Soul – Final 32 / 16H
Hemogoblin – Final 16 / 17H
Sword Swallower – Final 8 / 18H
Satans Biceps – Final 4 (Quarterfinals) / 19H
Dentist of Chaos – Final 2 (Semifinals) / 20H
Brutal Legend – Win the championship tournament at 21H

Inventory Prediction of weapons and other bonus

Postby Jasonweb » July 11th, 2009, 4:03 pm

There are several sites now that are providing the Prediction tool. Basically it allows you to see what your brute will receive after each level. And you can see your inventory of Weapons and Bonus change from Level 1 - 1000 !

I was skeptical at first, but then I searched under one of my Brutes specifically what it received in the past. It correctly identified a pet I had received at the exact level I received it. I was starting to believe the tool was more useful than I thought. So I asked it to predict my next two level up bonuses and inventory. Holy shit! It definitely works and was 100% accurate for weapons and bonuses. It will not tell you if you receive Endurance, Strength, Speed ( i.e. no weapon or bonus) which add a bar to your overall stats. And I have experienced many levels where I receive nothing but endurance, speed, strength and no weapons or bonuses. You will usually have a dry spell when you advance later in levels, but be patient the bonuses will return. And now there is no more guess work when you will receive your bonus and weapons.

This new tool proves that your character brute is following a pre-determined path from the start. The horse shit and speculation from when I first started the game is now gone ... good riddance.

Here are a few sites allowing use to the Prediction Tool

My Brute Simulator fight tool

Postby Jasonweb » July 11th, 2009, 4:11 pm

Another useful tool in predicting outcomes of fights between two brutes. You are even able to specify the exact level to fight each brute. Useful in determining some of my pupils chances for success later on after leveling so I am not spending too much time on the weaker brutes. I am now spending more time fighting and pupiling those brutes who are more likely to kickass.

On this site you can even have a total of 4 brutes battle in one game. I still use the 1 vs 1 for the majority of all my fight sims. There are other sites offering this Sim Tool as well so you can google for those

My pick:
